LARGE SINGLE FILE · 1 GB
BULK SMALL FILES · 1,024 × 1 MB · FTP'S WORST CASE
Why the gap? FTP pays a round-trip for every file — a thousand small files means a thousand waits. WarpSend packs the whole batch into one continuous encrypted stream and saturates the line. On a large single file the protocol overhead fades and the gap narrows to 5.6× — at that point the bottleneck is your bandwidth, not the tool.

Benchmark conducted March 2025: US East ↔ Frankfurt, WarpSend P2P vs FTP on identical hardware — 5.6× on a 1 GB single file, up to 618× on 1,024 × 1 MB files. The gap varies by file pattern; absolute speed scales with your line, so faster networks finish faster.
Most teams settle for slow FTP, expiring WeTransfer links, or unpredictable MASV bills. WarpSend was built to fix all three.

I used to wait hours for footage to upload. WarpSend gets it there in minutes — and I'm paying a third of what I used to spend on MASV.

We synced between Synology NAS units over the local network — painfully slow. After switching to WarpSend the same transfer is 20× faster. Installed from Package Center and it just worked.
